Taiwanese media industry CENS (Taiwan Sourcing Service Provider) reported Apple plans to launch iPhone 4-inch upgrade version or the iPhone 2 SE in the first half of next year (2018) by using the services of one of those companies Wistron Assembly for Apple iPhone SE today.
Earlier this year Apple assigned Wistron to engage iPhone SE parts of the factory in India.
India is the world’s second-largest smartphone market, But with a low average per capita income make people in the country prefer to buy cheap smartphones or outdated, The iPhone SE is another popular version in the country.
The plant of Wistron in India will not only be assigned by Apple for the Production of iPhone SE came out earlier this year but also has been designated as an iPhone 8 manufacturer.
Now, Apple is figuring out how to distribute Wistron’s production base to other countries around the world.
iPhone SE is currently available which design is similar to the iPhone 5s in the past by using the Apple A9 chipset as used in the iPhone 6s / 6s Plus, 2GB RAM, 12MP rear camera, 3.5mm headphone jack, Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The storage options of iPhone SE current has been increased to 2 times since last March (32GB and 128GB)
